EarMaster School is an interactive tool for teaching ear training. It provides you with an effective learning-by-doing approach to ear training. Students will develop better musical ears because they are not just passive recipients. Exercises are within the areas of chords, intervals, rhythms, melodies, scales, and modes. EarMaster School comes with a jazz tutor and a standard tutor with a total of 651 lessons. They are ready to use in your teaching or they can be inspiration for you to make your own lessons in the tutor editor.
Why use EarMaster?
With EarMaster, you will experience how ear training can become easy and rewarding. You can either let the EarMaster Tutors (standard or jazz ear training) guide you through the lessons, or set up your own ear training exercises to train according to your very own needs.
Besides the regular Anglo-Saxon tone-naming system (A, B, C, etc.) and Fixed-Do solfege, EarMaster also supports the Kodaly method as it includes the Movable-do solfege system (with the solfege syllables do, re, mi, etc.) as tone-naming option. But if you are not used to musical notation on a staff, you can use most of the exercises with multiple-choice buttons or instrument interfaces: piano, guitar, bass, violin, cello, banjo, and more!
